About the Artist

Originally from the Midwest my family moved to Arizona when I was a child.  I have been in Arizona since then.  I love living in Arizona and enjoy the warmth of the sun.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in nursing.  I worked in hospital settings, wellness and rehabilitative nursing.  I got an MBA while working and raising my family.  I spent the remaining years of my career in Nurse Management.

My real achievement in life is my family.  I am married and have 3 children.  I also have 5 wonderful grandchildren! I also have 2 small dogs that bring me lots of joy. They are the real focus of my life. 

Children grow and become independent, and work eventually ends.  As I prepared for retirement and my empty nest, I took some Groupon classes in glass blowing.  Eventually, I took a class in fused glass that began my love of fused glass art.  I have continued taking classes to learn a variety of techniques and worked to make the best glass pieces possible.  

As you can only give so much glass away, I ended up with a large inventory of glass that needed to find a home.  That is when I decided to create this business of making and selling my glass art. 

My goal is to make the very best glass art and functional pieces possible. I want to continue learning and honing my skill in the hopes that others will want to buy and enjoy the glass pieces that I make.
